My Background

I hold a degree in Art & Design where I specialised in printed Textiles. Later while working full-time I returned to part-time study and earned a Master's in Illustration with Distinction.

I launched my first print collection inspired by Dublin city in 2020.

My work is infused with a deep appreciation for place, culture and exploration, often reflecting my own diverse experiences and a love for travel.  With growing up in Donegal, living in the vibrant city of Dublin and I now living in Cheshire, Northwest England.

Creating my Illustrations

My illustrations are mainly hand-drawn with some digital elements in the artwork and process. I favour fine liners, graphic pens, markers and watercolours.

There is a clear influence on my work from my background in screen printing and surface pattern design and with my love for architecture.

Bold colour palettes, detailed line drawing and textured playful compositions play a key role in my visual language.

Whether working on a magazine feature, a location map, or branded visual content, I always bring creativity, professionalism, and a signature style that’s unmistakably my own.

fine art giclée printing

I always use fine art giclée printing rather than standard digital printing because of the quality and benefits of printing on the highest standard 300gsm cotton rag archival paper. This means that this paper will resist deterioration or yellowing over time and will preserve all colours printed on it.

Giclée printing is a high-quality digital printing method used to produce fine art reproductions. It involves using specialised inkjet printers to spray microscopic droplets of archival-quality inks onto fine art paper or canvas. The process is known for its exceptional detail, colour accuracy, and longevity, making it a popular method of choice for artists and photographers.
