Cathy is a professional freelance Illustrator & Artist. Clients include Jo Malone London, Cheshire Life, M&S and Gails Bakery.

Cathy’s illustrations are feminine, colourful, stylish, energetic & mainly hand-drawn with some digital elements in the artwork & process. Her work focuses on lifestyle & urban illustration, including buildings, places, maps, travel, botanical and more recently food. There is an influence of her background in screen printing & surface pattern in Cathy’s work. She favours use of pens, promarkers, watercolours & fine-liners.

Cathy is seeking freelance projects in lifestyle illustration including food, drink, travel and gardening such as editorial, brand or advertising.

She originally studied at Degree level in Art & Design and many years later returned to part-time study and completed an MA in Illustration with distinction launching her first collection of Dublin prints in 2020. From Donegal, she is currently living in Cheshire,  but spent most of her life in Dublin with plenty of traveling in between. She has lived between fields, seas & city life with a passion for the image & sense of a place.
